작가는 주변의 소외된 대상들에 눈길을 보내고 미미한 존재들의 시각적 상징으로써 그런 내용의 표현에 적합한 성질의 재료와 기법을 찾아 실천하고 있다. 종이 위에 색연필로 그린 선과 점으로 구성된 작품들은 아주 작은 구슬들을 촘촘하게 엮어서 만든 피륙의 무늬 같기도 한데 작고 정교한 점이 특징이다. 제작에 오랜 시간이 걸리고 집중력과 인내심이 요구되며 완성에 이르기까지 최종안이 계속 변경될 수 있는 가변적 성격을 지닌 작품 양식이다. 최종적으로 형성된 자유로운 무늬들은 공중에서 조감한 지상의 풍경 같기도 하고 들판과 정원의 모습으로도 상상된다. 작품의 모티프가 되는 선과 점 그리고 색연필로 칠한 채색은 회화의 최소한 기본 요소인데 작고 여리고 힘없는 존재들, 우리 사회 내 소수자들 혹은 좌절하거나 패배감을 느낄 때의 우리 자신들 즉 경계 밖으로 밀려난 것들에 대한 일체감의 표현일 수 있다.

The artist focuses on the marginalized objects around us and finds and practices materials and techniques suitable for expressing such content as visual symbols of insignificant beings. The work made up of lines and dots drawn with colored pencils on paper, resembling fabric patterns made by tightly weaving tiny beads characterized by its small size and precision. The work requires long time concentration and patience, and has a variable nature that the final draft can continue to change until completion. The patterns that are finally formed look like landscapes on the ground seen from the air, or fields and gardens. The lines and dots that become the motifs of the work. The basic elements of painting done with colored pencils and they represent small, delicate and fragile beings. It extends to minorities in our society, or us when we feel frustrated or defeated, that is empathy toward, beings pushed out of the boundaries.​​
