작가는 각각의 캔버스에 서로 마주 향하고 있는 형태로 두 마리의 토끼를 그렸다. 토끼의 형상은 만화 캐릭터처럼 패턴화시켜 명확한 인상을 준다. 노란색 배경과 선명한 대조를 이루며 붉은색과 푸른색으로 의인화된 토끼상은 독특한 형태로 고안된 네모진 얼굴과 표정의 변주 그리고 귀의 모양과 색상의 차이 등으로 다양한 이야기를 낳게 한다.

주인공들의 각진 안면 형태에서 기하학적 선으로만 재치 있게 표현한 눈과 입 모양도 눈길을 끈다. 작가는 다양한 표정을 통하여 자신의 미묘한 심리적 정서 상태를 기호적 표현으로 나타내려 한 것은 아닌가 싶다. 의인화된 동물 캐릭터에 자신의 감정을 투사하고 내면의 갈등을 반영한 심적 자화상을 추구하는 듯하다. 채색과정에 나타나는 물감의 처리 기법과 붓질의 스타일에서는 회화적 표현의 풍부함도 느껴진다. 

The artist painted two rabbits facing each other on each canvas. The shape of the rabbit is patterned like a cartoon character giving a clear impression. The anthropomorphic rabbit statue in red and blue contrasts sharply with the yellow background, evocative of various stories with its uniquely designed square face, variations in expression, and differences in ear shape and color.

The angular facial shapes of the main characters, as well as the eye and mouth shapes cleverly expressed using only geometric lines, also attract attention. The artist expressed his subtle psychological and emotional state symbolically through various facial expressions. The artist projects emotions onto anthropomorphic animal characters and pursues a psychological self-portrait that reflects his inner conflict. The richness of pictorial expression shows paint handling techniques and brushstroke styles that appear during the coloring process.
