수만 가닥의 노끈을 상하 수직으로 촘촘히 엮어서 공기와 빛이 투과하는 반투명한 벽으로 둘러싸인 공간을 만드는 설치 작업. 내부에서는 바람의 흐름과 햇볕이 들 수 있게 길을 내고 관객들이 그 안으로 들어가 바람에 의해 일어나는 떨림과 소리를 감상할 수 있게 만든다. 마치 숲의 고요함 속에 묻혀서 듣는 자연의 숨결 소리처럼 미세한 진동을 느낄 수도 있을 듯하다.

옛날 마을 공동체가 함께 모여 돗자리를 짜거나 이엉을 엮을 때처럼 무수한 반복적인 행위에 인내와 공들임의 수고가 필요하다. 전통적인 전승 공예에서처럼 품앗이 노동을 요구하는 작업이다. 

The installation creates a space surrounded by a translucent wall that allows air and light to pass through by tightly weaving ten thousands of strands of twine vertically and vertically. Inside, a path is created to allow the flow of wind and sunlight to enter, allowing the audience to go inside and enjoy the vibrations and sounds caused by the wind. Audience can catch subtle vibrations, as if the sound of nature breathing buried in the silence of the forest.

Patience and intense effort are required for countless repetitive actions to compose the work, And such course reminds us tales of collectivity, such as community labour to weave mats or thatch. Like traditional handcrafts, it is a work that requires a lot of labor.
