먹이사슬의 세계에서 가장 아래에 있는 연약한 짐승인 토끼를 작가는 동물 세계의 최상위 존재로 설정하여 기념비처럼 우뚝 선 존재로 만든 조각이다. 상상 속에서 사자나 늑대 같은 힘센 포식자들과의 위계질서나 서열에 관한 우리의 상식과 고정관념을 전복시킨다.

발달한 두 귀를 높이 세워 멀리 경계를 살피는 토끼의 자세는, 작가 자신의 욕망이 투사된 가상계가 꿈이 아닌 현실이 되길 바라는 염원을 담고 있다. 

The artist created this sculpture by transforming a rabbit, a fragile being in the world of the food chain, into a monument by setting as if it is the highest being in the animal world. In imagination, it overturns our common sense and stereotypes about hierarchy and rank with powerful predators such as lions and wolves.

The rabbit's posture, with its two developed ears raised high and observing the distant border, embodies the artist's wish that the virtual world his desires are projected to be reality, not a dream.
