작가는 견고한 화강암 석재에 고전적인 석조 기법인 카빙(carving)과 투각 방식으로 대형 문을 만들었다. 기둥과 상인방과 기단의 역할을 맡고 있는 각 요소가 일체화된 사각 프레임을 이루고 있는데 내부 안쪽으로는 도식화된 이미지의 손동작 한 가지를 새겨 넣었다. 보통 가위 모양을 한 양 손가락으로 사진을 찍는 시늉을 할 때 짓는 모양이다.

이 재치 있는 표현으로 상인방과 기단을 연결하는 구조적인 기능을 수행하면서 문의 사각형을 손가락 사이에 만들어진 작은 사각으로 한 번 더 반향하게 했다. 그 결과 육중하게 느껴질 석재의 재질감에 하모니와 경쾌한 리듬감이 부여됐다. 야외의 멋진 배경과 어울려 기념비적 조각으로 탄생할 전망이 보인다. 

The artist created a large door using classic stone carving and openwork techniques on solid granite stone. The pillars, lintel, and each element that serves as the stylobate form an integrated square frame, and a schematic image of a hand gesture is engraved on the inside. It is typically done hand gesture one try to test an angle before picture taking.

The jaunty expression echoes the square shape of the door once more with a small square created between the fingers, performing the structural function of connecting the lintel and base. It stands adding harmonious and a cheerful rhythm despite of its seemingly heavy texture of the stone.
