올리버 그림은 함부르크 출신의 독일 작가인데 홍익대 교수로 재직하며 국내서 활동하고 있다.〈게임 버전 1.2〉는 10년 전 개인전에서 한 차례 발표한 것을 이번 전시회에 새로운 버전으로 재구성하여 디스플레이 한다. 3D프린트로 만든 작은 조각품들은 무기를 손에든 전쟁놀이용 장난감 인형들이거나 기타 액션 피규어들인데 이들을 가지고 전쟁놀이를 벌이는 상황극을 흥미롭게 재연한다. 이 작품은 게임이 주는 오락적인 요소 뒤에 감추고 있는 현대인의 숨은 욕망을 폭로하는 듯하다.

Oliver Griem is a German artist from Hamburg who works as a professor at Hongik University and is active in Korea. 〈Game Version 1.2〉, which was presented at a solo exhibition 10 years ago, is reconstructed and displayed in a new version in this exhibition. The small sculptures made with 3D printing are war toy dolls with weapons in their hands or other action figures, and they interestingly recreate war situations. This work seems to expose the hidden desires of modern people hidden behind the entertainment elements provided by games.​​
