어색하게 큰 덩치에 얼룩덜룩한 무늬로 만들어 마치 무개념 디자인 같지만, 상품 시장의 세련된 스타일에 맞서려는 의도된 것이다. 날로 기술에 대한 의존성이 높아지는 사치성 제품을 사도록 부추기는 시장의 마케팅 전략과 정반대 방향에서 작가가 내놓은 해결책이다.

〈Slumpy 58〉 is a utilitarian sculpture created with a chair or sofa in mind. The sculpture is a useful object presented to modern people who spend a lot of time with electronic devices such as televisions and smartphones. It is designed to be multi-functional so that viewers can sit on it, lean on it, or lie down and enjoy digital devices while resting on it.

It seems like a not conscientious design, as it is awkwardly bulky and has a mottled pattern, but it is intended to compete with the sophisticated styles of the mass production.

The artist suggest the exact opposite of the market's marketing strategy that encourages people to buy luxury products and warn to beware of increasingly dependent on technology.​
