인공조건-작가는 전 세계 어디서나 볼 수 있는 화분을 모티프로 설치미술을 한다. 〈인위적인 조건(Artificial Conditions)〉는 10,000개의 생분해성 화분이 설치된 지형을 조성해놓고 거기서 식물로 조경된 풍경을 상상해보게 한다. 수많은 화분에서 키워낸 식물들로 조경될 풍경을 상상하는 것만으로도 우리의 삶을 한층 자연에 다가서게 하는 것이 될 것이다.
화분의 약속-작가는 또한 한국의 국화인 무궁화 화분(꽃가루) 모양을 거대한 풍선으로 만든다. 꽃가루는 식물의 잠재적 생명의 시작을 의미하지만 항상 성공적인 발아가 보장된 것은 아니다. 그 덧없음에도 불구하고 결국 가시적인 무언가로 꽃을 피울 수 있는 어떤 성장에 대한 약속을 암시한다. 작가는 이런 아름답고도 강렬한 메시지를 이 작품을 통해 전한다.

Artificial Conditions-The artist creates installation art using commonly seen flower pots as a motif. 〈Artificial Conditions〉 creates a terrain with 10,000 biodegradable flower pots installed and let viewers to imagine a landscape filled with plants. Just imagining a landscape with plants grown in numerous pots blurring the dividing line between exhibition space, us and nature.

The promise of a pollen-The artist creates a huge balloon in the shape of the pollen of Rose of Sharon, Korea's national flower. Pollen marks the beginning of a plant's potential life, but successful germination is not always guaranteed. Despite its ephemerality, it hints at the promise of growth that can blossom into something tangible.
