조소를 전공한 작가는 우리 생활에 쓰이는 각종 사물 예를 들면 생활 가구나 가재도구들이 주된 모티프이다. 특히 자본주의 경제 시스템에서 생산되고 소비되는 상품으로서 그것들의 존재를 기능과 구조 가치 등의 관점에서 주목하고 탐구한다. 그러한 사물들은 단순한 물건이 아니라 우리와의 관계 속에 있는 존재로서 사회적인 성격을 띠고 있다고 보고 있다. 상품 그 자체 안에 우리 사회와 마찬가지로 여러 가지 요소들의 대립과 모순을 품고 있다고 간파하고 작가 자신의 작품 제작에 창작의 원리로 적용하고 있다.
그의 작품의 특성을 보면 서로 다른 요소들 사이 대립과 불균형, 불안정들을 포함하고 있지만 그것들은 서로를 제약하고 서로를 근거지우며 교호적으로 비추고 있다고 한다. 사회의 모순을 시각적으로 구현하는 것에 그치지 않고 나아가 새로운 사회로의 변혁을 이야기하고자 한다.

The artist perceives that the product itself contains the conflict and contradiction of various elements, just like our society, and applies it as a creative principle in the production of his own work.

Features of his work includes conflict, imbalance, and instability between different elements, but they limit each other, support each other, and reflect each other in an alternating manner. We want to go beyond visually embodying social contradictions and talk about transformation into a new society.​
