풍차는 바람이라는 거대한 자연의 힘을 인간의 삶에 필요한 동력으로 전환해주는 기계장치다. 끝없이 에너지와 동력을 필요로 하는 인간의 욕망으로 인해 풍차에 연기가 불타오르고, 기후변화로 인해 더욱더 거세지는 바람에 의해 휘날리고 있는 모습이 연출된다. 컴퓨터 그래픽과 3D시뮬레이션을 활용하여 제작했다.

<포집된 자연>은 가상공간 안에서 자연의 메커니즘을 재현하는 여러 물리엔진을 활용하여 자연의 변화하는 모습들을 시뮬레이션 비디오로 시적으로 연출한다. 태양의 방향이 바뀌면서 벽에 드리워진 그림자의 각도가 시시각각 변하고 생동감 넘치는 날씨의 변화가 유리 상자 안에 담겨 있다. 사구에는 버려진 대전차 지뢰가 있고, 바람, 눈, 일몰, 일출 등의 자연의 날씨 변화는 아랑곳하지 않고 계속 일어난다. 우리는 이런 변화와 질서를 마주하며 숭고함을 느끼게 된다.

A windmill is a mechanical device that converts the enormous natural force of the wind into the energy consumption for human life. Due to the human desire for endless energy and power, smoke is burning in the windmill, and it is blown by the increasingly strong wind due to climate change. The work is produced using computer graphics and 3D simulation.

uses several physical engines that reproduce the mechanisms of nature in virtual space to poetically depict the changing nature of nature in a simulation video. As the direction of sunlight changes, the angle of the shadows on the wall changes moment by moment, and the vivid changes in weather are captured in the glass box. There are abandoned anti-tank mines in the sand dunes, and they continue to rise regardless of natural weather changes such as wind, snow, sunset, and sunrise. We feel sublime as we encounter such change and order. ​
