작가는 원예와 관련한 다양한 주제로 작업을 진행해오고 있다. 식물을 심고 돌보는 행위와 관련된 인간의 심성이나 사회적 활동에 관심이 많다. 〈사물의 정원_달성〉은 줄지어 늘어선 화분 속에 꽃이나 식물이 아닌 각가지 사물들이 대신 심겨있는 상황을 연출한 작품이다.

이 프로젝트는 화분이나 텃밭에 실수로 자신의 물건들을 두고 가는 사람들의 행위를 보고 처음 착안 되었다. 지금은 오히려 작가의 전시를 찾아오는 관람객들이나 참가자들과 상호 교환한 물건들 또는 전시장 근처 현지에서 수집한 식물들을 심은 화분들을 설치해 주제의 의미를 확장해 간다. 파빌리온 실내 화분들에 꽃 대신 의외의 물건들이 꽂혀있는 광경은 관객들을 잠깐 당황스럽게 하겠지만 곧 이 불합리한 상황이 더 많은 의미를 상상하게 해줄 것이다.

The artist has been working on a variety of topics related to gardening. Artists are interested in human psychology and social activities related to planting and caring for plants. 〈The Garden of Objects_Dalseong〉 is a work that creates a situation in which various objects, rather than flowers or plants, are planted in rows of flower pots.

This project was first conceived after seeing people accidentally leaving their belongings in flower pots or gardens. Now, rather, the meaning of the theme is expanded by installing objects exchanged with visitors or participants visiting the artist's exhibition, or pots with plants collected locally near the exhibition hall. The sight of unexpected objects instead of flowers being placed in the pavilion's indoor flower pots may momentarily bewilder the audience, but they soon realize that this absurd situation opens up more imagination.
